My name is Wendy. I'm a stay at home mom to three little ones that I had nearly back to back. Our first baby was a huge blessing. Babies number 2 and 3 were a giant surprise. I quit my job as a high school teacher to stay at home and raise the kiddos. This has put a huge strain on our family's finances, so I began searching for ways to earn money from home.

I've been making money online since November of 2007 under the online handle of Thrivingmom. I started out with GPT sites and paid survey sites that I learned about from moms on various mommy forums. I built up my downlines so that I'm now earning a residual income from my referrals. While advertising my referral links on a few work at home forums, I read a few posts about Squidoo. I checked the site out and saw it was free and so thought I'd give it a try. I earned $16.95 my very first month with Squidoo. I was hooked.

Since then, I earned the title of Giant Squid and am now in the Giant 100 Club and a Squid Angel. I have written over 150 lenses. While I'm not one of the top earners at Squidoo, my profits are steadily climbing each month.
